Realme has unveiled a concept smartphone in India featuring a massive 10,000mAh battery with support for 320W wired fast charging. This Realme GT concept phone is notably slim and lightweight, measuring under 8.5mm in thickness and weighing just over 200 grams, despite its huge battery capacity. It uses a silicon-content anode battery with a 10% silicon ratio and an energy density of 887Wh/L, which is among the highest in the smartphone industry.
To accommodate the large battery while maintaining a slim profile, Realme has introduced a "Mini Diamond Architecture" that rearranges the internal layout, allowing for the world's narrowest Android mainboard at 23.4mm. The concept phone also features a semi-transparent back cover, giving a glimpse of the internal components, including the battery and compact mainboard. The prototype has a rectangular camera island with two sensors.
While this is a concept device and may not be commercially available soon, it reflects Realme’s commitment to pushing boundaries in battery technology and design. The phone is expected to be part of the upcoming Realme GT 7 series, which will likely include more mainstream devices with large batteries and fast charging capabilities.
